Inspiring things I have found this week 16/01
My life is getting back to normal, kind of. Back to writing, and blogging and interviewing anyway. All other work is going to have to wait. My physio starts this week, the word ouch may come into it, but at the moment I am keeping positive, and hoping it gets me back to my usual self of walking here there and everywhere and finding amazing independent shops to tell you all about. I am sleeping much better and look less like an old hag, well maybe better than last week. Still in need of a makeover. Beauty bloggers I may need your help to achieve reasonable status.
Everywhere I look this week there is a photo of Luxe Revival. It seems M&S have completely nailed this look. Remember me telling you about Jewel Colours last year, and how velvet would be a key focus, well the new home range from M&S is looking very glam. Something I will have to take a closer look at pretty soon. It looks like Art Deco, meet Hollywood glam puss has landed kind of look, so think Golds, Teals, Blue’s and Dusky Pinks. The Barclay Drink Trolley I love, but then I always love a drinks trolley!
Ed Sheeran coming out with 2 new songs, made me smile and think that regardless of what experts say about him, he isn’t pop, he is an artist, and a good one too, that turns the idea of pop on its head!
I finished my book by Lucy Diamond called One Night in Italy, what a wonderful book! based in Sheffield, and so many references to the city, I have always liked reading a Lucy Diamond book, as easy to read and has lovely characters in her books.
Looking around I fell in love with a Pewter Leather Looking Pencil Skirt I may have to purchase, when I have lost weight, due to not being able to move for 4 weeks, my waistline isn’t looking too hot at the moment, seriously not thinking of chocolate for another 6 weeks! need to get motivated.
Finally, I have been thinking of Concrete, it is on my mind constantly, and I got to meet two separate business owners this week, both having a huge passion for Concrete, and both doing amazing things with the hardwearing material, further blog post to follow.
Hope you all have a good week x x
